Play is an electro pop rock group based in Nantes.
The group in its current form was formed in 2011, on the basis of a project initiated by Eric Valbousquet (keyboards).
The arrival of Francois Derrien on bass, PatrickTemplé (Victor Noir, Lenin McDonald, Smoking Frogs ...) on vocals, Flavien Murail on guitar and Stéphane Glory (Lenin Mac Donald, La Grande Sophie ...) on drums defined the current sound of the group.
PLAY feeds the mixture of musical cultures of each musician, finding a common basis including Pink Floyd, U2, David Bowie, Radiohead, Porcupine Tree, Depeche Mode.
The group is currently produced by Nico Thébaut (Les Caméléons, Two Fingers Up)
